FLYING FISH
The Flying Fish level is aimed at those swimmers who are continuing to perfect their technique, whether an established Club swimmer or a promising youngster, conditioning exact style before entering competitive swimming.
Although training takes place in a 15m pool, sessions have been created with this in mind.
Resistance training using tethers, drag suits and pull buoys will also be used to build up strength. With the addition of diving blocks and backstroke flags, Flying Fish not only aims to perfect stroke technique but also starts, turns and finishes which are essential in 25m pool races. The use of underwater filming is also available for coaching of strokes and these can be played back on site using the flat screen monitor enabling instant feedback.
